Checking a company in Portugal
Is the Portuguese national register checked automatically?
Not yet. VIES and global checks run automatically; Registo Comercial is reported as not connected.
Can a Portuguese IBAN be checked?
We can recognise the IBAN and compare it across supplied evidence, but without a public bank-account register we cannot automatically confirm its owner.
Coverage limitation
Public portals provide business information and extracts, but we have not confirmed a stable official API for individual automated checks. The result therefore reports partial coverage.
