Enter the number with its country code and add the message, advert or claimed identity. VerifyBeforeBuy searches for exact public connections and compares them with the wider transaction.
What to submit

- The phone number including its international prefix
- The SMS, WhatsApp message or a description of the call
- The advert URL, name, company, email or payment details
What we check

- Repeated complaints and warnings backed by traceable sources
Questions before checking
What this check can and cannot prove
Can VerifyBeforeBuy identify the owner of a phone number?
Only when the exact number is reliably connected to a company, organisation, public profile or publicly acting person. We do not claim ownership of a private number without public evidence.
Does no result mean the phone number is safe?
No. A new, spoofed or unreported number may have no public footprint. The number is therefore assessed together with the message, offer, payment request and other evidence.
What should I submit with the number?
Add the conversation, advert URL and any claimed seller or payment details. Wider context can reveal inconsistencies that a number alone cannot.
What the result means
Caller ID can be spoofed and no public result does not mean the number is safe. We show the sources and strength of every match and do not use leaked or private databases.
