Email check
Check a suspicious email and message together
An address alone is not enough. Add the sender email and message text so VerifyBeforeBuy can compare the domain, links, claimed identity and traceable public context.
What to submit
Evidence that improves the result
- The sender's exact email address
- The full message without passwords or access codes
- Links from the message and the claimed company, payment or offer details
What we check
Signals evaluated together
- The email domain and its consistency with the claimed organisation
- Exact public connections and repeated mentions backed by traceable sources
- Pressure, deceptive links, sign-in requests and irreversible payment demands
Questions before checking
What this check can and cannot prove
Is the email address alone enough?
It can be checked, but adding the full message, its links and the claimed sender identity produces a much more useful assessment.
Should I paste a password or verification code?
No. Never submit passwords, one-time codes, payment-card numbers or other access credentials.
What does no public match mean?
It only means that no sufficiently supported public connection was found. It does not confirm that the message or sender is safe.
What the result means
Sender addresses can be spoofed and a free email address is not proof of fraud. Never submit passwords, one-time codes or payment-card details.
