Is e-cégjegyzék checked automatically?
Not yet. Public manual search exists, but without a confirmed open production API it is not reported as an automated check.
What does a successful VIES check prove?
It confirms a tax identifier, not that a particular website, person or account belongs to the company.
Coverage limitation
The official e-cégjegyzék supports public search, but we have not confirmed an open production API for automated individual queries. Coverage therefore remains partial.
